We feel that it is important to try and get athletes to take
control of their own development.
One way of achieving this is to provide them with video
footage of their own performance that they can study in their own time using a ‘homework’
approach.
The road to professionalism
On top of this, the analysis undertaken can be utilised to
create a professional sporting CV or dossier for athletes that can be used, for
instance, for scholarship or scouting purposes. It can contain a multitude of
media including achievements, statistics, graphs, action photographs and even
video footage of performance highlights; allowing the athletes to set
themselves apart from the crowd.
